SEQUINS
SEQUINS is a No-Budget series of 5 Music Videos for Jack Kane's 2023 EP, directed by HG4's Jacob Dudman. The video's combine and culminate into a narrative - following the journey of an umbrella as it travels through various fragmented love stories:
1. SEQUINS
The first video of the EP, of the same name, was featured as a 'Ones To Watch' music video of the week upon it's release.
2. SWIMMING POOL
Swimming Pool follows a young man at a pool party, desperate to be seen by the girl of his dreams. In it, Kane explores the difficulties of navigating party settings and social embarrassment.
3. I'M JUST BEING HONEST
'I'm Just Being Honest' is a lyric video that reflects on the downtrodden 'below the line' workers in the music industry. A commentary on his fears and distastes, Jack Kane portrays both a narcissistic superstar and his under-appreciated assistant.
A love letter to his dreams.
